ONLINE REPORT: – The Department of Bioinformatics, Hazara University (HU) Mansehra arranged the First National Conference on Emerging Trends in Bioinformatics & Biosciences in Hazara University. The main aim of the conference was to bring together
scientists, researchers and scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Bioinformatics and Biosciences.
On this occasion Prof. Dr. Syed Iqbal Shah, the former Vice Chancellor of Agriculture University Peshawar was the chief guest of the conference. The Vice Chancellor of Hazara University Prof. Dr. Muhammad Idrees welcomed the chief guest and the respected participants of the conference.
The chief guest Prof. Dr. Iqbal Shah asserted, “Through internet, the world has become a global village, the researchers can get help from anyone in the world due to net” “This seminar will give more benefits for the students of Bioinformatics Department and entire Hazara University as well”, he further said.
The Vice Chancellor of HU Prof. Dr. Muhammad Idrees said “This conference is very beneficial and better for the scholars and novel students of Bioinformatics”. “The students will get more knowledge and information from the presentation of the scholars and is helpful in their research work”, he added. The Patron of the conference and Dean of Arts Prof. Dr. Manzoor Hussain Shah said, “This conference is very fruitful for Hazara University and it will boost the research
activities in the university”.
The participants presented their research papers on different topics which were highly knowledgeable & informative and appreciated by the scholars and students.
Many male and female professors, lecturers, scholars of the country and Hazara University
participated in it.
The closing ceremony of the conference arranged in the multipurpose hall of Hazara university.
The Vice chancellor (VC) of Hazara University was the chief guest of the closing ceremony. The
VC distributed shields and certificates among the participants and organizers of the conference.
On the last day the trip was arranged for the guests of the conference.
