First National Conference on Emerging Trends in Bioinformatics and Biosciences (NCETBB-2017) will be held in Hazara University, on 20-22 July 2017. It will be organized by the Department of Bioinformatics, Hazara University, Mansehra, KP, Pakistan..
The Conference is to be held every year and is the 1st in the series. Its scope covering new and exciting research areas, thereby inviting interest of a large audience. The conference targets research presentations by academic and professional researchers, and also includes invited talks enabling participants to learn about the latest trends in field of Bioinformatics and Biosciences.
Research contributions are expected from the participants, covering various disciplines under the domain of Bioinformatics and Biosciences. For all submitted papers, the review criteria include significance of the problem, novelty, clarity, completeness, and accuracy.

Submitted abstracts must represent original work.
All abstracts will be reviewed by the NCETBB-2017 Scientific Review Committee within due date. Updates will be communicated by the Conference Secretariat.
The Review Committee will select abstracts for oral or poster presentation unless the author indicates a specific preference for poster presentation.
Some abstracts will need to be amended and you may be asked by the Review Committee to submit these changes. It is the intention of the Review Committee to use the amendment process to assist authors to improve the quality of their abstract.
ABSTRACT should be 250 words or less, exclusive of title, author(s) names, and institutional affiliation(s)
All submissions should be in Microsoft Word and should fit onto a single A4 page
Please use 12pt Regular Arial font
Abstract title should be 14pt BOLD and in BLOCK CAPITALS
Authors’ names should be on the next line in 12pt BOLD Arial font
In case of more than one author, please underline the name of the presenting author
Please do not include degrees or titles
Authors’ organisations/institutions should be on the next line in 12pt Arial font, should include the city, state and country of the organisations/institutions
Please do not use abbreviations unless defined in the abstract
Care should be taken to ensure high quality English expression and grammar
Please DO NOT include any tables, graphs or images with your abstract(s)
All abstracts must be structured including, Background and Aims: Give a brief reason for the study. Provide a clear statement of the aims of the study Methods: Give a short description of the study population or specimen preparation, data collection and processing.Results: Important statistical results (such as confidence intervals, p values or correlation coefficients) should be included.Conclusions: Make simple statements that are supported by the evidence shown in your results. Keywords: max of 3-5
Oral Presentations: will be for 15 minutes. This is inclusive of 5 minutes question and answer time.
Posters: should be printed to a maximum size of 2 feet W x 3 feet H and presenters should bring their own standees to affix the posters
